FRANKFURT, Germany - Jan. 26, 2018 - (Originally posted on PRLog) -- When most people think of an easel the traditional forms come to mind, H-frame or tripod, which have been around for hundreds of years. Attendees at Creative World are being given the special opportunity to experience a new kind of easel, the Everyday Easel, before it officially launches to the global market.

After examining the limitations of ordinary easels, such as wobbly legs and tricky adjustment mechanisms, the design team behind the Everyday Easel had a shared epiphany.

The easel needs an upgrade.

They reimagined it from the ground up. The new easel overcomes limitations of motion, allowing artists to create from every angle they desire.

With its magnetic surface and canvas clamps, the Everyday Easel allows the artist to shift and pivot their creative process, flexibly maneuvering their work surface and canvas however they like at any given moment.

The design team also created magnetized tools and accessories that make the artist's life easier, such as shelving to store an artbook or phone.

The lead designer behind the project, Nigel Gough, explains why the easel design is so revolutionary.

"First, the patented canvas clamps stick to the easel surface, which gives artists a dynamic way to move their canvas with ease. Second, the angle of the easel surface can be adjusted without all the screws and mechanisms of traditional easels."

The Everyday Easel was designed to validate the artist's experience, one of quality, aesthetic, and commitment to craft. The name Everyday is a testament to the artists who must create, whether by passion, profession or both, every day.
